Tales

About Steinberg Tales

Steinberg Tales is a sampled nylon-string concert guitar instrument for HALion, designed for composers and musical storytelling.

• A handmade classical guitar sampled exclusively with open strings delivers a warm, intimate sound.
• Four articulations include soft, hard, mute and harmonics.
• More than 60 textures complement the guitar for fantasy, science-fiction and dramatic scoring.
• Open-string sampling captures long natural sustain across an extended pitch range.
• Textures combine granular, FM and wavetable synthesis with sampled sounds.

Use Tales to blend expressive guitar performances with atmospheric layers in your compositions.
