The Cherry Audio SH-MAX is a software synthesizer that combines features from three classic 1970s SH-series synthesizers: the SH-5, SH-7, and SH-3A, enhancing them with modern capabilities for today's music production.

• Dual oscillators with multiple waveforms and an additive-style oscillator inspired by the SH-3A
• Two parallel filter sections: a multimode filter with lowpass, bandpass, and highpass modes, and a dedicated bandpass filter
• Two tempo-syncable LFOs and two full ADSR envelopes per layer with velocity and loop options
• Flexible signal routing allowing individual sound sources to be directed to either or both filters, or bypass them directly to the VCA
• Over 300 professionally designed presets across various categories
• Four-channel step sequencer capable of parallel playback or extended chaining
• Four independent customizable effects chains with 20 studio-quality effects

SH-MAX offers a versatile and powerful synthesis experience, suitable for creating a wide range of sounds from massive leads and thick basses to lush pads and complex sound effects.
